Tulip Foundation runs the campaign for the European Day of Solidarity between Generations for many years. Nowadays in Bulgaria and Europe there are people from four generations with different experience, skills and needs living together. We learn about and understand the world from parents and grandparents, from teachers, coaches and lecturers, from friends and colleagues. That’s what we pass on to our children, grandchildren, students. Solidarity between generations has many various forms but the essence is one and the same - to live well together.

This year the Day of Solidarity between Generations is in between many other festive days. Thus the connection is even easier. We will call parents, relatives and friends to greet them. Will tell children a fairy tale or an old family story. Will cook a traditional recipe that we know from mothers and grandmothers. Will talk with the neighbours. Will greet the people we meet on the street. We will remember that all people - young and old, known and unknown, smiling and sad, need attention and respect!

Thus we will together be part of the European Day of Solidarity between Generations - 29 April 2022!
