Teams from the local community centres "Buditel - 1927" in Bayachevo village, "Svetlina - 1927" in  Davidovo village , "Razvitie - 1906" in Bukhovtsi village, and "Mincho Ivanov - 1912" in Makariopolsko village participated in training sessions on implementing the programme to support families with young children.

Maria Petkova from the Tulip Foundation and Diana Yakimova from the NSO Club in Targovishte conducted the first training session on 30 April in the community centre hall in the village of Bayachevo. The essence, principles, goals, activities, and participants in the programme were presented. The discussion following the presentation outlined the main areas to be in focus.

The second training session was led by Diana Yakimova on 19 May. Participants were introduced in details to the programme’s components, the main topics for working with parents and children, and potential partners. They received a variety of materials and ideas for their practical work. In this way, traditional local organisations with more than a century of history are complementing and expanding their role as a driving force in the development of the local community.
