Aim: Creation of conditions for support for families in a crisis situation in the municipalities of Biala Slatina and Kneja so that they do not leave their children in an institution 
Activities: The activities on prevention include individual, group and mobile social work delivered by a team of social worker, psychologist and other specialists. The model consist of identification of families at risk; work on plans for support; following the cases; development of data bases. The participation of parents and children in the agreements on the necessary support will take them out of the passive role of recipients of help. The identification of families at risk of abandoning their children will be done by a social worker in each municipality through visits to the Roma neighbourhood, visits to the general practitioner and maternity clinic; meetings with Roma leaders; collection of information in main stream schools and other institutions as well as communities. Trainings for basic parental and social skills for parent’s groups and volunteers are planned. The project activities include also campaign about the opportunities given to families. Four campaigns will be organised for collecting funds and goods for support for poor families in each municipality. 
Target groups: The target groups include 40 families at risk to abandon their children in the municipalities of Biala Slatina and Kneja. These are families with low income, many children, single parent families, young and single mothers, parents working abroad, grandparents taking care for children, families with chronicle diseases and disabilities, without home or income to live, families with children recently re-integrated in the family that are at risk of going back to an institution.
