Aim: To reduce the number of children placed in institutions through a system of supporting services for parents based on a holistic approach and inter-institutional cooperation 

Activities: Creation and piloting of a local coordination mechanism aimed at prevention of institutionalization at all levels – during pregnancy, immediately after birth and in the community; establishment of a qualified prevention team of social workers, medical specialists, psychologists and “Parents for support”; support for families through psychological and social help, mobile community work, material support, family group conferences, advices for young parents etc.; activation of the local community in prevention activities like charity campaigns, charity bazaars and others 
Target groups: Families whose children are at risk of abandonment or placement in institution; single mothers, pregnant women and families with many children living in social isolation; families with children placed in institution or children recently reintegrated after placement in institution; families with parents working abroad; underage parents; young people with risky sexual or challenging behaviour; families of children with disabilities
