Tulip Foundation, the National Alliance for Voluntary Action and the Bulgarian Center for Nonprofit Law started a campaign for adopting a Law on Volunteering in Bulgaria after public discussions with civil organizations. The law will regulate the statute and the responsibilities of volunteers as well as those of organisations working with volunteers. Similar laws have already been adopted in many EU member states.
We appeal to civil organisations and citizens to support the initiative and to spread the information among their partners, organisations, colleagues and media they are working with.
