The annual meetings are being organised since 2002 with the aim to provide forum for participants from various countries to discuss together methodological and practical issues about the development and the application of the model Family Group Conference and to contribute to equalisation and standardisation of the Family Group Conference-service in Europe.
The annual meeting of the European Family Group Conference Network took place in Cardiff from 7 to 9 October 2015. It was hosted by the Welsh Family Group Conference Network.
The agenda included information from all participating countries and over 30 organisations, sharing of up-to-date news and experiences, discussions and planning of opportunities for cooperation. Colleagues from Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Austria, Sweden, Bosnia, England, Scotland, wales etc. took part.
At the end of the meeting the participants unanimously adopted a position on the refugee crisis in Europe.
