The Secretary of the Municipality Rumen Kozhuharov announced the beginning of the marketplace by ringing the traditional for the marketplace gong. After an hour spent in dynamic meetings, contacts, exchange of ideas among the representatives of the local business and civil organisations signed 27 agreements for exchange of goods, materials, services and voluntary work at a total of 10 500 leva.

Some of the deals formally agreed at the marketplace in Pazardjik are:

• Duropack Trakia AD will provide children’s clothes and shoes, office equipment and materials for the children’s groups of Children in need Association. The association will include children of the employees of the company in the icon painting club and will organise a team building day for the company;

• Argos Company will provide security services for the festivals organised by the Youth Club Pazardjik who of their side will organise celebrations for the employees and their families on various occasions.

Duropack AD signed the biggest number of agreements on the business side. Among the civil organisations it was the Union for independent creative communication that signed the highest number of deals.

The marketplace in Pazardjik was organised with the support of the Municipality of Pazardjik, CEIGB Pazardjik, Union of the private entrepreneurs Pazardjik, Mineral water Rakitovo, Youth Club Pazardjik and Public Fund Pazardjik.

The marketplace took place in the frame of a project financed by the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe.
