The meeting was held in the renovated hall of the Youth House that was given for free by Stara Zagora Municipality. Representatives of 16 civil organizations from the town and the municipality took part in it. They got acquainted with the rules for organising a marketplace and practiced their skills for presenting the organisation in front of the bussiness and formulation of good “matches”. A special movie made by the Bertelsmann Foundation about marketplaces in Germany was presented.

The participants discussed together the potential next steps for realization of the first marketplace in Stara Zagora. All organisations received a copy of the manual “Cooperation with business: Good business”, developed in the Netherlands by a team of civil organisations and companies and translated and adapted by the team of Tulip Foundation.
