The training was held in the European Information Center with the support of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality. Representatives of 20 civil organizations from Veliko Tarnovo, Gorna Oriahovitsa and Polski Trambesh took part in it. They got acquainted with the rules for organising a marketplace and practiced their skills for presenting the organisation in front of the bussiness and formulation of good “deals”. A special movie made by the Bertelsmann Foundation about marketplaces in Germany was presented.

The participants discussed together the potential next steps for realization of the first marketplace in Veliko Tarnovo. All organisations received a copy of the manual “Cooperation with business: Good business”, developed in the Netherlands by a team of civil organisations and companies and translated and adapted by the team of Tulip Foundation.
