This year we received 46 essays in the competition for a short essay „Why is my organisation important for the people?”. The competition was announced by Tulip Foundation and the NGO Informational Portal in September as a challenge the colleagues from  civil organisations in Bulgaria so that they to use human language in communication with people (especially those with and for whom they work), the donors, the volunteers, other organisations, media, society...

A Jury with members Luba Yordanova, journalist at Capital weekly, Marian Bodakov, a writer and a university teacher, and Georgi Angelov, journalist and TV Presenter will select the best essays according to the preannounced criteria:

• human language of writing;
• clear and easy to understand  presentation of the organisation and its importance for the people;
• interesting and moving narrative.

The best essays will be awarded with a special grant and public presentation.

The awards will be announced at a public ceremony on 22 November at 6 pm at Vivacom Art Hall.
