The awards will be announced at a public ceremony on 7 November at 18 pm at A HUB, 3 Hristo Belchev street.

This year we received 39 essays in the annual competition for a short essay „Why is my organisation important for the people?”. Tulip Foundation and the Information Portal of Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs) in Bulgaria announced the competition in September as an expected challenge for the colleagues from civil organisations in Bulgaria so that they to use human language in communication with people that they work with and for, the donors, the volunteers, other organisations, media, society...

Victoria Blajeva, Head of Department Public relations and Corporate Communications at UniCredit Bulbank; Marin Bodakov, a poet, a lecturer at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and an editor at Kultura newspaper and Georgi Angelov, a journalist, a translator and a TV presenter at history.bg at the Bulgarian National Television will select the best essays according to the announced criteria:

  • human language of writing;
  • clear and easy to understand  presentation of the organisation and its importance for the people;
  • interesting and moving narrative.

 

The best essays will be awarded with a special grant and wide public presentation.
