In the end of June 2015 Koos Schouten, member of the Board of Tulip Foundation took a day off his office and family and traveled to Biala Slatina with his own car to bring tens of boxes and packs with in-kind donations from Rotary International Vienna, the parents of the children at Tuti kindergarten and numerous individual donors from Sofia.
The donations included substantial amounts of clothing for children and adults, various kitchen articles, shoes, toys for children at different age, blankets, sheets etc. The donations were delivered to the local 1 June Association, a partner to Tulip Foundation in the frame of Trusting in Children and Families Programme. The colleagues will distribute the support from people from Vienna and Sofia among families with children who are facing difficulties. That would help many children to stay with their families, to have more contacts with other children and to be ready for a kindergarten and school.
