Rotary International provides additional support to families with young children included in the Prevention of Child Institutionalisation programme, Bukovlak village, 29 November 2010
30.11.2010

On 29 November 2010 Mr. Phillip Clayton made on behalf of Rotary International a donation of children clothing in Bukovlak village, Pleven municipality. The donation will be distributed by the local Chitalishte “Probuda 27” among the poorest families in need with young children living in the village.

This donation is an additional support to the work of Pleven Public Fund Chitalishte in the frame of an ongoing project “A family begins with the children”. The project aims to introduce a new model of work with children and their families living in villages through the network of local Chitalishte in order to prevent insufficient care and violence against children and their substituent institutionalisation.

The project is financed in the frame of the joint Program for Support for Children and Families in the Community Aimed at Prevention of Child Institutionalisation of Tulip Foundation and OAK Foundation.
