Rotary International provides additional support to families with young children included in the Prevention of Child Institutionalisation programme, Lilyak village, 16 March 2011

On 16 March 2011 Mr. Phillip Clayton made on behalf of Rotary International a donation of children clothing, shoes and toys in Lilyak village, Targovishte municipality. The donation will be distributed by the local Chitalishte “Mihail Donev” among the poorest families in need with young children living in the village.
This donation is an additional support to the work of the NGO Club Association in Targovishte in the frame of an ongoing project “Community support to raise children in family environment ”. The project aims to introduce and strength effective models and practices for support for Roma children and families based on active participation of the local community aimed at reducing the number of abandoned and neglected children in Targovishte municipality.
The project is financed in the frame of the joint Program for Support for Children and Families in the Community Aimed at Prevention of Child Institutionalisation of Tulip Foundation and OAK Foundation.
