Day centre for elderly people “Hope” was officially opened in Brashlianitza village, Pleven municipality on 30 July 2009. The centre has been created by the local Chitalishte Prosveta – 1907 with the aim to improve the quality of life of the people at their third age through creation of a cozy and comfortable place for everyday gatherings. Tulip Foundation supported the renovation and the furniture and donated a computer system so that people from all ages have access to informational services and Internet. Many local people, the team of the Chitalishte, the mayor of the village Tzvetan Gospodinov and the mayor of the neighboring village Koilovci Krasimir Ivanov as well as journalists from national media were present.
