On the occasion of 1 October, the International Day of Elderly People Tulip Foundation organised a campaign “Society of all Ages”. The aim of the campaign was to pay attention to the elderly people around us, to praise their contribution to the society, to hear what they have to tell us. The everyday life of the elderly people is not always easy, but loneliness, isolation, lack of understanding and respect is most difficult for them. 

Hundreds of people from all ages, civil organisations, community clubs, schools, municipalities and mayors offices from around the country took part with various initiatives targeted at the seniors in their communities. They were all led by the will to praise the wisdom and the contribution of the elderly people around us – our parents and grandparents.
