Participated colleagues from various organisations from Sofia, Dryanovo, Ruse and Plovdiv. Maria Petkova, director of Tulip Foundation, presented information about the way the EU functions, the impact of the EU institutions on the lives of senior citizens of Europe as well as the way they could influence the EU policies. All participants received a guide to the EU institutions and the procedures at EU level translated and published in Bulgarian by Tulip Foundation and Bulgarian Red Cross.
The training was organised with the kind cooperation of the Representative Office of EU in Sofia. The hosts invited the senior citizens to visit the informational centre. Maria Gerganova, director of the centre, told about the services, the information and the publications available in the library at the centre.
