The members of Volonteurope came together in Warsaw on 5 December 2023 to celebrate the international day of volunteers.  During the General Assembly we shared updates form members and listen to presentations on ongoing projects. Discussions and exchanges on current topics are always the most vivid part of our meetings.

The annual public conference “Building more resilience through social action and citizenship” took place at the Jablkowski Brothers House.  It started with a keynote speech on Socio-technical innovation and sustainability transformation: the role of volunteering. That was followed by a panel and audience discussion on volunteering in times of crisis with core speakers from The New Europeans, SosyalBen Foundation from Turkey and the Czech National Volunteer Centre. The second panel discussion was dedicated to a very up-to-date topic – Navigation the Green and Blue transition: A just and sustainable society.
