he project aims at providing conditions for equality and overcoming the information and social isolation of the children and young people living in the village as well as offering new administrative services to the community.

The Chitalishte opened a Centre for Social Activities and Services. The Centre has two premises: Study Hall andService Hall. The first one is equipped with computers, printers, scanners and a copy machine so that the children and young people, socially disadvantaged and elderly people from the village can use internet and computers. During the project computer training was provided to 64 children and 20 adults from the community. We are planning to continue these activities after the project has finished. In the Service Hall there is a computer and a copy machine – own contribution of the chitalishte – to be used for administrative and information services to the people from the village. A data base was developed to make the administrative services more efficient: it contains business information, legal documents, contact people etc. We also offer help in filling in documents and application forms, design and printing of invitations and death announcements, typing and printing documents, etc. A Handbook with the available services has been published.

During the project implementation a lot of volunteers were attracted to join the project team – representatives of the municipality, members of the chitalishte and students and teachers from the local school. Good working partnership was achieved with the local institutions – Vratza Municipality, Regional Social Services Department, Liliache Municipality, the school. We believe that we will continue to work together in the future.
