The premier of the play The road...and somebody’s soul shone in the darkness…of the Mim Art Theatre took place on 16 April 2008 at the stage of the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts Krustyo Sarafov, Sofia. The play is realised as part of a project implemented by Tishina (Silence) Association working with actors with damaged hearing. The project is supported by Sofia Municipality, Tulip Foundation and the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts Krustyo Sarafov, Sofia.
Among the actors in the play there are students with damaged hearing from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts Krustyo Sarafov, Sofia, students graduating the speciality Pantomime lead by associated professor Alexandra Horn, second year students, speciality Theatre of Movement lead by associated professor Alexander Iliev, Jestim - group for synchronised singing and dancing lead by Maria Atanasova as well as professional actors.
In an interview for the Bulgarian National Radio Maria Atanasova, chair of Tishina Association and leader of Jestim shared the plans of the theatre to expand their activity by providing possibilities for stage performances of blind musicians.
