The Project of the Year awards ceremony will take place on 16 July at 7 pm in the Sofia City Art Gallery.

We organise this competition annually because we believe that people and organisations who day by day help others professionally and purposefully deserve recognition. This year we received 18 nominations from across the country. These are presented by civil society organisations and partners, participants, volunteers and citizens. They are evaluated according to the announced criteria - results achieved; sustainability of the activities over time; financial efficiency; participation of people from the target groups and the local community in the planning and implementation of the activities; innovation and applicability of the idea in other places in the country.

The best projects will be selected by a jury with members Snezhina Petrova, actress and head of the Department of Theatre at New Bulgarian University; Tsvetanka Mincheva, CEO and chairman of the Board of UniCredit Bulbank; Kamelia Slaveykova, chairman of the Board of Directors of Shell Bulgaria; Kin Stoyanov, director of the Hristo Botev program of the Bulgarian National Radio and Svetlozar Zhelev, director of the National Book Centre. 

The Project of the Year Award was specially designed by Georgi Chapkanov - Tchap.
