Project of the Year 2014
05.01.2015
Tulip Foundation is happy to announce the traditional competition for the best social Project of the Year 2014.

The initiative takes place for a tenth successive year and is provoked by the numerous good projects realized all over Bulgaria each year. Each of these projects has been made possible by the hard work of the people who invested a lot of their time and dedication for the success of the projects.

It is important for all of us to pay public recognition to all those hundreds of professionals and volunteers who are helping the others to make their lives easier and their cities, towns and villages a better place to live. Donor organisations, funding programmes and raised funds would not make any change without the participation and the contribution of the numerous motivated and responsible people.

Civil organizations that have been implementing a project aimed at improving the living conditions, possibilities and quality of life of certain groups or communities in disadvantaged position are welcome to participate in the competition. Projects implemented in towns, cities and villages are welcome regardless of the project budget, source of funding, scale of operation, type of activity or beneficiaries.

The nominated projects will be evaluated on the basis of: achieved results, sustainability of the project activities, financial efficiency, participation of the target groups and the local communities, innovative services and the possibilities for implementing the project in other areas of the country.

Projects can be nominated by organisations and individuals. The nomination form which is only available in Bulgarian can be downloaded from the Tulip Foundation web site or sent upon request by e-mail or ordinary mail. Nominations are welcome till 12 February 2015 at info@tulipfoundation.net or Tulip Foundation, 1 Reka Osam Street, ap. 2, Sofia 1124.

The list of nominated projects will be presented on the Tulip Foundation web site. The awarded projects will be announced at a public ceremony in March 2015.

The awards are especially made by the prominent Bulgarian sculptor Georgi Capkunov.
