Many interesting and effective projects are implemented in Bulgaria each year. Every one of them is been made possible by the hard work of a team which has invested a lot for its successful implementation. It is important for all of us to pay public recognition to people and organisations who help others to make their lives easier and Bulgaria a better place to live. Fundraising campaigns and donor organisations, funding programmes and raised funds would not make any change without the everyday, targeted and professional work of the numerous motivated and responsible people.
Civil organisations that have implemented projects aimed at improving the living conditions, opportunities and quality of life of groups of people or communities in disadvantaged position during 2019 are invited to participate in the competition. Projects implemented in towns, cities and villages are welcome regardless of size of budget, source of funding, scale of operation, type of activity or beneficiaries.
As always the nominated projects will be evaluated on the basis of: achieved results, sustainability of the project activities, financial efficiency, participation of the target groups and the local communities, innovative services and the possibilities for implementing the project in other places around the country.
Organisations and individuals are welcomed to nominate a project by filling out the nomination form (in Bulgarian). Nominations are welcome until 20 February 2020 at mgeorgieva@tulipfoundation.net or by post: Tulip Foundation, 1 Reka Osam Street, ap. 2, Sofia 1124.
The full list of nominated projects will be presented on the Tulip Foundation web site. The awarded projects will be announced at a public ceremony in the end of March 2020.
The awards are especially made by the prominent Bulgarian sculptor Georgi Capkunov.
