Interesting researches and presentation in the field of early childhood development were presented by Friedrich Affolter from UNICEF, prof, Paul Conolly from Queens University in Belfast, prof, Dragana Breneselovic from Belgrade University, Eszter Salamon from European Parents’ Association etc.

Maria Herzog, Chair of Family, Child, Youth Association, presented the development of Sure Start programme in the US and Europe over the last 25 years as well as the opportunities for adaptation of the programme in other countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The participants raised many questions and shared comments. The presentation was in the frame of the Sure Start programme in CEE developed by Tulip Foundation in cooperation with Oak Foundation.
