The meeting took place at Haskovo mineral bath on 8-9 February 2013. The participants were some 25 coordinators and referrers to FGC. 

The aim of the participants was to summarize together the difficulties and to outline the opportunities for development of the programme. They discussed the realized activities – the main difficulties, the successful practices and the factors for success. The next steps in training for specialists, work with families and institutions, widening the circle around the child and opportunities for the model to reach out more families were other important themes for discussion. 

All specialists and the core team of the “Trust in the Family” project agreed on a number of new ideas about popularization of the method, better coordination between various specialists and more interesting options for reaching out and providing information to more children and families. 

Trust in the family creates responsibility, self-reliance and less dependency on social services.
