The animals are donated by Tulip Foundation and the official handing over of the cows to the families was the first event of a new project of the foundation. Till the autumn of this year a total of 20 thoroughbreddairy cows will be donated to families in disadvantaged position living in the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo. The cows have been bought from farms on the territory of the same municipality.

The official ceremony was attended by Rumen Rashev, MD, Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo Municipality and representatives of the municipal administration, members of the local civil organization St. Ivan Rilski, Radoslav Christov, Mayor of the village of Balvan as well as the mayors of the villages Velchevo, Shemshevo and Sheremetia, Vladimir Kisiov, Chairman of tulip Foundation and Maria Petkova, direcor of Tulip Foundation.
