Our colleagues and partners from CCF/HHC Moldova are working to give every child the opportunity to grow up in a loving family. They organised and hosted a workshop in Chisinau to present the Sure Start programme in Moldova on 15 November. The meeting took place in the frame of a project of Tulip Foundation aimed at introducing the concept and the practice of the programme targeted at children aged 0 to 5 and their families to specialists from civil organisations and state institutions in Central and Eastern Europe. The activities are co-funded by Oak Foundation.
The participants – more than 30 colleagues from civil organisations, local authorities, schools, kindergartens, and universities, ministries of education, social policy, health and finance presented their position and took part in the discussions. The meeting started with a presentation of the policies and the practices in education and protection of children in Moldova.
