The members of Volonteurope met in person in Brussels in mid-December after months of virtual communication and webinars. We came together for our General assembly and an Open Forum of the VOSOTROS project. There was much to share and talk about. The focus of the gathering was a presentation and an open conversation about the results and the findings from a project following the development of volunteers, mentors of volunteers, organisations, territories and the general public. The conversation about the measurement of the effectiveness and the necessary support for organised volunteering was important for all participants. Each year more than 10 million volunteers are involved in various activities across Europe. The economic and social impact of their motivated volunteer work often remains unrecognised.
