Voluntary Initiative 2022
01.11.2022
Volunteering is learning, dialog and social inclusion!

Tulip Foundation and the National Alliance for Voluntary Action launch the traditional annual competition for the most effective and interesting voluntary initiatives in Bulgaria. We organise the competition for 12 years now – since the European Year of Volunteering 2011. We know that volunteers change the world and life of people. We know they are the first to react in difficulties and crisis by offering the most adequate form of support and solutions.

This year more than ever there was a need of voluntary actions – pandemic, war, floods…Thousands of volunteers organised and got involved in hundreds of initiatives around the country. They all deserve support and appreciation!

Organisations and groups that have organised voluntary initiatives during the year regardless the place and the period of the realisation, the aim and organisation of the actions, the sources of funding, number and age of the volunteers are invited to participate.

The nominated initiatives will be evaluated on the basis of their results, the importance for the local community, the number and the involvement of the participants, the impact of the initiative for the development of the capacity of the volunteers and the team of the organisation, the financial effectiveness. The best initiatives will be praised with a special certificate and award in the form of investment in the development of the volunteers and the organisation.

Initiatives can be nominated by organisations and individuals by sending the filled nomination form to info@tulipfoundation.net by 21 November 2022.

The full list of presented initiatives will be published on the Internet sites of Tulip Foundation and NAVA.

The awards will be announced at a public ceremony on the occasion of the International Day of Volunteers in the beginning of December 2022.
