Tulip Foundation and National Alliance for Voluntary Action announce a competition for the most interesting and effective voluntary initiatives in Bulgaria in 2013.
All organisations realising voluntary initiative aimed at active ageing and solidarity between generations in Bulgaria during the year regardless the place and the period of the initiative, the aim and organisation of the actions, the sources of funding, number and age of the volunteers are invited to take part. Every good initiative deserves recognition!
Criteria
The initiatives will be evaluated on the basis of their results, the importance for the local community, the number and the involvement of the participants, the impact of the initiative for the development of the capacity of the volunteers and the team of the organisation, the financial effectiveness.
Jury and Awards
The best initiatives will be selected by a Jury with members: Iva Roudnikova, Chief Editor Capital Light; Ambassador Ivan Stancioff, Chair of the Board of Karin dom Foundation; Boyko Stankushev, member of the Board of the Bulgarian National Television and others.
The best initiatives will be praised with a special diploma and award in the form of investment in the development of the volunteers.
Get involved
Initiatives can be nominated by organisations and individuals. The nomination application (in Bulgarian language) can be downloaded from the internet site of Tulip Foundation or received by e-mail. The deadline for sending nominations on info@tulipfoundation.net is 31 October 2013.
A full list of all nominated initiatives will be presented on the Internet sites of Tulip Foundation and NAVA. The awards will be announced at a public ceremony in December 2013.
