The groups Ratts of the Capital and Naos unite young photographers whose uniqueness lies in the fact that they use not the digital (analogous) photography but the traditional photographic processes. Aleksandar Bogdanov, Velislava Stoycheva, Veneta Zaharieva, Veselina Skumova, Vladislav Lepoev, Dimitar Gramatikov, Ivan Nenchev, Mihail Lozanov, Penko Skumov and Petar Vlahov made the donation as a mark of their support to the mission of Tulip Foundation to encourage social responsibility in Bulgarian society.
The photographs will be sold at a charity auction, and the money raised will be used to fund project/s in the social sphere. The projects will be chosen together with the authors of photographs.
The Imprint exhibition (Noble Photographic Processes) was held in Krug+ Gallery between 18 February and 8 March 2009. The exhibition offered the above mentioned young artists the opportunity to interpret the work of the Bulgarian photography classic master Georgi S. Georgiev (1881-1959) by presenting their own photographs consistent with the techniques and aesthetic of the noble photographic processes.
