The trainings took place in the frame of  a national volunteer programme „For the Volunteers”run by UniCredit Bulbank to support and stimulate volunteering among its staff. The themes about motivation, rights and responsibilities of volunteers, planning of volunteer initiatives, cooperation with partners, feedback etc. were discussed. 

The participants were active volunteers from the bank offices in Sofia, Burgas, Varna, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Silistra, Plovdiv. They will act as ambassadors in attracting other colleagues in different local causes and initiatives. After the training sessions Tulip Foundation in cooperation with the Bulgarian Donor’s Forum provided the volunteers in each town with contacts of local organisations and information about their causes and initiatives so that the volunteers could get involved and support with their efforts. These various initiatives and activities are related to older people, children and youth, people with disabilities, environment, culture etc.
