If you are a parent, or expect a child, or you are a grandmother, or a grandfather, or a child or young person … - this compass is for you! It leads to Europe which invests in shaping a healthy society, environment and economy fit for children.

The document has been developed by the European network COFACE Families Europe, which in October last year started a discussion about the different factors that have an impact on the health and wellbeing of children. More than 100 key stakeholders from across Europe were involved. On the basis of the collected data, the UN Convention of the Rights on the Child, the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the European Pillar of Social Rights and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals the Child Compass 2030 was developed. The aim of the document is to guide policy making and service development in the social field, as well as in multiple other fields that impact children and their families.

That means the Compass concerns us all.
