Marketplace Pleven for a second time, 7 November 2012
The second annual Marketplace took place at Gena Domotrova Hall at the Regional Library in Pleven on 7 November 2012.

It was realized by Tulip Foundation in cooperation with Pleven Public Fund Chitalishte and a group of civil organisations in Pleven and the region with the support of Pleven Municipality and the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Marketplace was organised on a full voluntary basis. Various volunteers participated with different roles. Valia Minkova led the event. Daniela Peneva, secretary of the Regional association of the Science and Technical Union was the notary. Stefan Stefanov from Chitalishte Prosveta in Yassen village was the photographer. The Marketplace was supported also by the local Professional High School on Trade and Services – the students prepared and organised the cocktail party after the event. Winery Mizia donated the wine for the participants. Ivan Radoev Theater provided the gong for the Marketplace.

The Marketplace was opened by Maria Petkova, Director of Tulip Foundation and Stefan Petkov, Deputy Mayor of Pleven who ringed the gong as a symbolic beginning of the event. The meeting lasted for about an hour during which time the participants talked, exchanged contacts and ideas for cooperation. The results were announced after the last ring of the gong – 19 signed agreements for a total of more than 10 000 BGN leva

The signed deals include volunteer actions, consultations with project work, advertisement, provision of halls and different premises, office equipment, furniture and carpets, statutory, food, musical programmes, musical equipments etc.

The most active firm among the business was Artefact Kaliane.
