Tulip Foundation publishes a new document for social impact in Bulgarian language.
Tulip Foundation published The Seven Principles of Social Value in Bulgarian. The Principles, developed by Social Value International, are fundamental principles for social reporting for anyone who wants to make decisions that take a wider definition of value into account, in order to increase equality, improve wellbeing and increase environmental sustainability. They are generally accepted social accounting principles for non-for-profit and funding organisations, social enterprises, agencies and local authorities:
- Involve stakeholders;
- Understand how change is created and evaluate this through evidence gathered, recognise positive and negative changes as well as those that are intended and unintended;
- Value the things that matter;
- Only include what is material – information and evidence that gives a true and fair picture;
- Do not over-claim;
- Be transparent;
- Verify the result by an appropriate independent assurance.
