TRACEUS Project – sharing recipes and traditions
13.04.2021
We begin presentation of traditional recipes from Ireland, Cypress, France, Spain, Belgium and Bulgaria.

Traditional cuisine reflects history, way of living, values and believes of people from a country. Traditions, Recipes And Cuisines of Europe Using Smartphones Project (TRACEUS) connects socially older people (over 55 years of age) with different background, language and culture through sharing culinary recipes in the form of short online video clips. That would help them improve their skills for using digital technologies and smartphones.

The partner organisations had a few virtual working meetings. They shared information about the development of training modules and the recruitment of voluntary participants in each country. In the first edition of the monthly bulletin of TRACEUS project you will find information about our partners and traditional recipe for a Family Irish Stew, presented by Donal Skehan.

The preparatory online meetings in Bulgaria started with a few voluntary participants from Sofia, Varna, Sliven and Gotse Delchev. They will give valuble feedback on suggested future training moduls content and design of TRACEUS website that will be taken into account. After series of online trainings in the autumn they will describe and share through video clips their favourite recipes and will tell more about the culinary and cultural traditions behind them.

One can still get involved in the project if having cooking skills, willingness to share recipes, has a smartphone, Internet and free time. Please, contact us at mgeorgieva@tulipfoundation.net.

TRACEUS project is co-funded by Erasmus+ Programme of the на ЕC.
